The EPA has fined Thiess John Holland $5241 for water pollution that impacted Mullum Mullum creek. If you’ve ever driven over the construction site you’ll be shocked at how much the landscape has changed, a whole forest turned into muddy, flat area. The company is “committed to ensuring the highest standard of environmental protection on this project”. I just wish the money had been spent on some good public transport instead. More roads = more cars.
