Consumers and water restrictions

AdelaideNow has an editorial on how we are running out of water in Australia. Interesting points made about where water is being used, it seems if we really want to make a difference we may have to start restricting business:
Householders, bearing the brunt of water restrictions, account for only 16 per cent of the consumption of mains-supplied water in Australia.
Growing rice and cotton may make ‘economic’ sense, but it’s going to leave us very thirsty!
