Standby power is costing you money

According to this article your standby electronic stuff could be costing you US$24.44 per year! Good news is that Australia has signed on to to the IEA’s 1-Watt Plan - which aims to reduce standby power usage to just 1-watt by 2010. But until then, and even after then, just turn stuff off when your not using it! It’ll save you money and it’ll save the environment some pollution too.
