Public transport is looking to be a big issue for the upcoming election. Labour and Liberal have bothed pledged to abolish Zone 3, which means a saving of almost $3 for a daily ticket for 1.5 million communters. Labour has also promised to slash regional fares by 20% and the Liberal’s have promised free public transport for students. Let’s hope we see some good investment in public transport too.
