Great post on Gristmill about a funny butcher encounter. The writer went to a butcher and asked for grass fed beef, the response? “I don’t think cows can eat grass”! Good quote in the comments too, whereas we grass fed free roaming cattle worked pretty well: “We decided to slice this system apart into row crops and feedlots. As Wendell Berry said, “we took an old solution and neatly divided it into two problems.”
