Having almost finished administrative law I have a better understanding of how hard it is to get information from the government. While I understand that some “commercially sensitive” information needs protecting, how can the community make an informed decision on these matters without some basic information? See also, the former NSW Ombudsman’s report says free speech is being whittled away in Australia. And FOI laws are making things worse!
