My name is Devon Whittle and I’m a final year, Christian, Arts/Law student at Melbourne University. I was born in South Africa (but migrated to Australia when I was 5 years old) and I am currently in Arusha, Tanzania with my wife. This year we are spending six months at the ICTR in Arusha, before we head to London where I will be completing my law degree at the Centre for Trans-national Legal Studies.

James5 documents things I find interesting in international law, development and my life generally. Since beginning, it has gradually morphed into a place where I can work on my writing skills, share interesting articles, and attempt to develop my own voice/opinion on international law and development. At the moment, there’s likely to be a mix of international criminal law, personal and study related posts.
